Robin Barrett - Head Teacher Robin has been a part of Here Wee Grow! since its very beginning. She was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1994, and when the school opened its doors in 1995, she served as a substitute. Six months later she moved into a regular teaching position. Working with young children is very rewarding for Robin. She loves their natural enthusiasm for life and their uninhibited self- expression. Robin and her husband Michael have lived in Enfield for 29 years. Michael is an Account Executive for The Horace Mann Insurance Company. They enjoy antiquing and attending auctions together. The Barrett's oldest son, John is and a graduate of University of New Haven. He is employed by Target as an Executive Team Lead. Son Daniel is pursuing his masters degree at Trinity College majoring in English. Youngest son William will is a sophomore at Eastern Connecticut University, majoring in math and secondary education Robin and her family enjoy vacationing at Martha's Vineyard. During her personal time she enjoys plants, swimming, walking, and reading. As a member of Hazardville United Methodist Church Robin has served on a variety of committees, and has spent most of that volunteer time involved in Christian education. Mrs. Barrett received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. |
