Trudy Heck - Head Teacher
Trudy was born and raised in England, but traveled between the USA and England in her teenage
years, and when she was a Nanny. She moved to this country when she married her husband Ken
fourteen years ago. Trudy worked as a travel agent for eight years until her daughter, Stephanie, was
born. Stephanie, who is entering the 3rd grade at Parkman Elementary, spent two years at Here Wee
Grow! Trudy at first volunteered her time at preschool, and became a teaching assistant when her
daughters' time at HWG was finished. Working at Here Wee Grow! kindled a strong desire to continue
to work with young children, and so she began working on a degree in early childhood education. Trudy
has recently completed her degree and holds an A.S. in Early Childhood. Trudy volunteers at her
daughter's school and with the PTO at Parkman.
