Welcome! The Parent Group at Here Wee Grow! Preschool is much like that of a PTO in the public schools. There is a chairperson to organize and conduct the meetings. This chairperson is also a parent, so together, the parents of Here Wee Grow! students work together to assist the HWG staff in events planned during the year. Our parent group was begun by two fathers, Mr. Jim Cannon (Wyatt and Owen's dad) and Mr. Patrick Navin (Emily and Nicholas' dad) about three years ago. It has been helpful in bringing special groups, such as Huga Tuga (reading program) and the Taramar Marine Biology group to our school. The parent group has also been very generous to the school by presenting a gift at the end of the school year. |
FEBRUARY 26TH- Friday, 3yr olds: 5:30-6:30 CARNIVAL 4yr olds: 6:30-7:30 Hot dogs, chips, drinks, cotton candy and more...... PLEASE DON'T FORGET YOUR CANNED DONATION TO THE ENFIELD FOOD SHELF!!!!! NOTE: If the weather is bad on Friday and the Enfield Schools cancel their evening events, we will cancel also. New date will be determined and updated information will be sent home. MARCH- In process of searching for event... APRIL 8TH - Thursday 4 yr olds TRIKE-A-THON APRIL 9TH - Friday 3 yr olds TRIKE-A-THON Kids can have a blast decorating their bicycles at home. On Trike-A-Thon day please bring in your child's bike and helmet. Your child will be doing laps in the parking lot in a enclosed coned in area. The more laps they do, the more money that is raised for St. Jude's Hospital for Children. A packet will be sent out with additional information. MAY 3-7 Monday-Friday TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK We will have a sign-up sheet for any families wishing to sign up for a day to bring in some type of breakfast item Coffee, donuts, pastry etc. MOVIE RENTALS: $1.00 EACH - 4 rentals max This is a ongoing fundraiser for the parent organization.
