We would like to take this opportunity to thank Phyllis Phelan and the wonderful staff at Here Wee Grow. Our children, Danny and Hannah both graduated from the Pre-K program. The teachers at Here Wee Grow prepared our children to be successful, life-long learners. We were especially impressed with how nurturing they were to all of their students. They truly love working with children. Danny and Hannah were both emotionally and academically ready for Kindergarten. We owe that to Phyllis and her very dedicated staff. Thank you again, we will continue to spread the word and hopefully send more children your way.

About five years ago, I visited with my daughters Sara (2 years) and Anna (4 months old). Mrs. Phelan welcomed us and gave us a tour through the school. I recalled that Sara wanted to spend time in Mrs. Schiessl’s classroom while we discussed the curriculum and when it was time to leave Sara started to cry because she wanted to stay.

We enrolled both Sara and Anna in Here Wee Grow Preschool and have never once regretted our decision. Douglas and I have witnessed with great delight how patient and professional the staff have been in passing the knowledge our children need to move on to elementary school. The staff shared monthly outlines of the curriculum. They also sent home frequent notes telling us about the progress of our children both socially and scholastically.

The open door policy is refreshing and it is a reflection that HWG have a keen interest in the development of not just our daughters but each child that enters their door. It amazes me how the staff at HWG greet each child by name every morning. We witness the children smile with a sense of pride, a sense of importance and that they matter. This is how they start their school day, they matter.

This is our last year with HWG and it is a bittersweet feeling. We wish that Here Wee Grow was an elementary school as well; nevertheless we are thankful that our daughters have had a very positive and rewarding experience. Thank you Here Wee Grow Preschool!

Our two oldest children have had an amazing experience at Here Wee Grow Preschool. Foremost, it has given them the knowledge and confidence to easily transition to a Kindergarten program. While at Here Wee Grow our children looked forward to each day and came home at the end of the day excited about what they’ve learned. We’ve seen our kids grow in their independence and expand their social skills and the teachers at Here Wee Grow played a huge role in encouraging these characteristics. While the accredited program is what initial brought us to Here Wee Grow, it is the passion, dedication and sincerity of the teachers that is bringing us back with our youngest child.
